Lori Heavener, MOTR, Director of Rehabilitation

She received her Bachelor's of Health Administration and Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University.
She has worked with CVA, fractures, neurological dysfunction, COPD, dementia and replacements such as hip, knee and elbow. Lori is also a member of AOTA since 2002. Her continuing education includes seminars on geriatric therapeutic exercises, nursing rehabilitation skills, and Medicare billing and coding. She most enjoys cooking classes with her patients, which aid them in their activities of daily living to become independent to return to their prior living environment.
Lori also enjoys running, scrap booking, baking and lives in South Lyon with her husband and two children. |

Debbie Bellovary, COTA, Rehab Coordinator
Debbie received her Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from Schoolcraft College in July of 1988. Her experience includes hospital, home health, outpatient clinics and rehab centers.
Debbie has attended extensive continuing education courses in Rehabilitation, including dementia care and is a Certified Dementia Care Specialist.
In her personal time, Debbie enjoys gardening, reading and scrap booking. Debbie and her husband have 3 children and 3 granddaughters. |

Wendy Brumley, COTA

Wendy received her Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from Schoolcraft College in 1988. She is certified and licensed by the State of Michigan. She has attended continuing education seminars, on-line courses and at-home study programs.
In her spare time, Wendy enjoys gardening, cooking, sewing and spending time with her husband and two daughters. |

Heather Eckhart, MSOTR
Heather has been an Occupational Therapist since 1998, after graduating from Washington University with her Masters in Occupational Therapy. Heather has worked in a variety of hospitals, rehabilitation units and extended care facilities in Iowa, Illinois, and Michigan.
Heather has had experience with surgical, neurological, orthopedic and many other diagnoses.
Heather has been very active with sports and exercise facilities. In her free time, Heather enjoys working out, running, reading and scrap booking. |

Gani Villaroman, BSPT

Gani has been a Physical Therapist since 1992. He graduated from an accredited college in the Philippines. His areas of experience include neurological orthopedic conditions namely knee and hip replacements and ankle injuries, pain reduction, Cardiac and Pulmonary Care. Also other areas include joint mobilization, PNF, Bobath, and NDT, positioning management. He has also worked in: outpatient setting, inpatient hospital settings, acute rehab, sub acute rehab and home health services. |

Jeff Troop, PTA
Jeff Troop graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Henry Ford Community College in May, 1996, with an Associate's degree in science. For the past 11 years, he has specialized in rehabilitation and has worked with a variety of patients, including spinal cord injury, MS, stroke, TBI, Parkinson's, dementia, cardiac, COPD, arthritis, total knee replacement, total hip replacements and fractures.
He attends continuing education courses to constantly sharpen his clinical skills.
Jeff lives with his wife and two wonderful sons, in Garden City, Michigan. |

Enid Serrano-Flaisher, MS, CCC-SLP
Enid has been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 1975. She has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Miami, a Master's degree from the University of Puerto Rico with post-graduate studies at Wayne State University.
Enid's expertise includes dysphasia, aphasia, neurological conditions, head injury, CVA. Her training includes oral function, swallow function, language, communication, diet, fluid intake, aspiration pre-cautions. She has worked in home health care, schools, private clinics and rehab centers.
Enid spends her spare time raising a daughter in Farmington Hills. She also enjoys antique shopping, reading, singing, and brings humor and life experiences to her patients. |

Cathy Horton, CNA
Cathy Horton completed her Certified Nursing Assistant program in 2005. She has been a physical therapy tech since 1990. Cathy continues her education every year to maintain her certification. She has extensive knowledge on fall prevention, safety, proper transfer techniques, range of motion, ADL's and application of positioning devices and splints. She also assists our Physical Therapists in therapeutic exercises, stretching and modalities.
Cathy enjoys sewing, reading and traveling, photography and spending time with her extended family members. She and her family enjoy living in Westland. |
