Admission requirements at Westland Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre are the same for each person. All of our programs and services are available, without distinction.
Every person admitted to Westland Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre must have the recommendation of a licensed physician and the approval of our Admissions Committee. Only those who we feel will benefit medically and socially from our care and services will be admitted. Once admission has been approved our Specialty Care Coordinators and Admission staff will work directly with you to arrange the entire move. Our personal involvement ensures a smooth transition with the highest level of professionalism.
RESPITE CARE
Westland Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre offers Respite Care to patients whose regular care-giver needs to take time off. Services are available for a few hours, a full day or night, a few days or a few weeks. We provide the care needed that will give you peace of mind knowing that your family member is in safe hands guided by professionals while you take a break or go on that much needed vacation.
FAMILY ORIENTATION
Regardless of the reason for choosing Westland Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre, the decision is never an easy one. To assist our families with this transition we offer a Family Orientation Program about three weeks after admission. To review:
